So, I'm exercising the latest beta by checking wx around the country. In particular, I'm checking out airports in IL where a big thunderstorm complex is bearing down on them.

I go to the wx page, which also shows METARs from nearby airports.

That's cool.

Surprisingly, some airports are good VFR, despite the NEXRAD picture. But I'm not familiar with the names of these alternate airports.

Is there any easy way that iFly could give a rough distance and azimuth, like AirNav does? (Rough as in N, NE, W, etc.) Just something to give me an idea where the alternate is when I go back to the Map.

Good idea. I see the distance is shown but not the relative position.
