And while we're at it, can we add a "test" feature to the audio? I'd like to confirm that the audio settings are loud and clear as part of our preflight checks.

And yes, male/female and louder would be just as if not important.

Yes, I very much second the suggestion for an audio test capability. That's why I was playing music -- to test the volume. I couldn't find a good way on the ground to get iFly to speak to me unless I put in a Direct-To flight to a nearby airport and then use Simulation mode to basically "fly" into terrain to force terrain warnings. I looked all over iFly for an audio volume control and/or test. Thanks.

HOOK:

I also use an Android phone and tablet for IFLY.

I fly a noisy Avid Flyer and am having no issue with sound levels with my Zulu headset.

Try this:

Go to Sound and Notification on your Android device and up will pop volumn controls for Ringtone, Media, Notifications and System.

Tweeking one of these may help.

As I noted in my original, I already did that. Did you actually test for the volume of the voice when triggering terrain warnings on your own device?

Further, besides music being quite loud, I can say that AHRS warnings from iFly are VERY loud. But not the voice warnings for terrain. They need to be louder.
