I did a search for "updates", and got 500 returns. So perhaps this was suggested but I was too lazy to read 500 posts.
Since it seems that iFly can connect to the internet, and download information (it updates weather, etc. when on WiFi), why couldn't it also check on available updates to maps, software, etc. without shutting down iFly?
As an addition to this it would be nice (if the above is possible) to have it automatically check for updates to the software, and charts required for whatever flight plan is active.
