Re-order Time, Fuel, Distance totals?

I'm planning a flight from AZ to WA and just notice this tiny inconsistency on the Flight Plan page.

Notice that the intermediate calculations for Distance, Time and Fuel between waypoints are in that order.

But the Total is in Time, Fuel, Distance.

I suggest the order in the Total field match the order in the midpoint calculations.

Not sure I agree. Understand your observation but I think it may be this way intentionally. If not, they wouldn't really need to list it again at all. When planning, it's giving you the nm per leg, then the est time and est fuel. This makes sense since we (that's a big assumption on my part) look at distance as a general guide to planning based on the range we can safely fly.

Once all the planning is done, it's nice to see your total time and fuel requirements - it helps with the "other" planning (eta for pick-up, etc.)...the total distance really isn't as important in the overall summary.

Just another perspective...

To me, this is an insignificant nit regardless. It makes absolutely no difference. I would prefer they spend their time making real improvements, not messing with nits such as this.

I agree with ErgoMike on this one. Order is the rule of the day. I think in matrices. It's nice to see a list of data in the same order regardless of which page/form/chart/diagram/etc. we are looking at. - Jim Williams
