I find myself scrolling around plates a lot in landscape mode. (In order to read text at top and bottom of plate.) While I'm scrolling/panning the plate, with my finger on it, a dynamic range ring pops up, with a large milage tag. (See red arrow.) Makes it hard to read and a little vertigo inducing (since both the range ring and the mileage will move around as my finger moves). Suggest either deactivating this feature when plate is showing, or when opacity is set to 100%, or deactivate in a new Map Mode called "Full Plate"
Similarly, the dynamic or fixed range rings sometime obliterate critical info. (As does the large ownship symbol.) For the range rings, I again suggest deactivating range rings on plates, or on plates at 100% or in a "Full Plate" mode. For the ownship symbol, perhaps that could shrink to a blue dot in "Full Plate" mode? (I've learned that I can select "No Instruments" to deactivate the VP and the other items that obscure the view of the plate. If there will be a "Full Plate" mode, perhaps the Instruments should deactivate automagically until the user calls them back up?)
