Guys, how about getting this done. The App that I've used for long time that implemented XM weather is now out business.

Shouldn't be to hard to implement the Baron MobileLink device to push the weather data from Wxworx receivers to the App. If you do this please use the Lightning and SCIT data. I find these the most useful after NEXRAD. The SCIT data is transmitted every couple of minutes and will provide a quicker notice when a store is getting worst.

Every minute and 15 seconds, they evaluate the NEXRAD reflectivity and velocity data (Doppler) to determine if any cells exhibit severe characteristics such as shear, heavy rain rate and hail. These cells are identified with a Storm Cell Identification and Tracking (SCIT) marker. How it is produced is a well-kept secret, although there are dozens of similar algorithms publically available.

An plans to add the SXAR1 device for SirrusXM weather.  Rather have this than the mobile link.

XM is on the wishlist, but currently still not in the dev plan.
