I believe that the format for XM weather is about to change, and older receivers will no longer work. And as I have one of the old round boxes I will continue with ADS-B.

Welcome aboard, XM is on our development wishlist.

Have you considered ADS-B, it seems to be the choice moving forward as there is no reoccuring fees. XM does offer some more advanced data, however I believe ADS-B will be adding more WX data in the future.
