Thanks for the report Lawrence. NuShield has the iFly 700 in their product list now, so you can select that instead of the Amtek. I've ordered a couple myself, and will add my own PIREP when able.

I just got the screen protector from NuShield. It fits well and was easy to install. It doesn't seem to interfer with the touch ability of the screen. I really only got it to protect the screen from scratches and damage, so for me it is worth the price.
Made one out of poster board (oak tag), cut it, sprayed it black and attached with velcro. Works well...Tom
you could look in this site, they fold over to cover the unit when not in use and transport

I had initially made a poster board sun shade. I used that as a template and cut out an aluminum one out of .025 and extended it a bit. I also use a sunshide on my clear bubble canopy (RV6) and overall have a decent improvement in readability. Unfortunately I just got back from ferrying an RV9 from San Diego to NY and had a lot of trouble reading the IFLY in the bright cockpit. The software functionality of the IFLY is excellent. My "wishlist wish" would be for a hardware upgrade to get sunlight viewability akin to a garmin or avmap. Understand this might be significantly more expensive but IMO many folks would spring for the extra bucks for this kind of useful capability.
