The Lowrance Airmap 500 had a great feature - A split-screen showing the location of the aircraft in relation to the destination airport's runway/s.

The runway numbers were prominently displayed to reduce confusion when approaching an unfamiliar airport.

It makes setting up to enter the pattern safer and virtually guarantees you will always be landing on the active runway.

I'll leave it to the pros to decide where to insert that feature in the IFly700.

I used an Airmap 600c which the same feature. I agree, it was VERY helpful.

I agree.
The way I get the runway alignment after finding which runway is active, I use the popup menu for the runway under 'More Options', 'Show Extended Runway'.

I also use Show Extended Runway and I really like it and it is a great tool.

I wish it was a little easier to get to (fewer touches), If we had a soft programmable key, I would put this function on my main screen.

Agree. Love the feature but it's a bit cumbersome to activate when arriving to a busy, uncontrolled field.
