I would like to see the crosshair/aircraft shown about two-thirds or five-sixths of the way from the top of the display instead of centered. The portrait mode could provide much more information about upcoming areas of the flight plan if it were offset. I'm almost never interested in what is behind me unless I'm practicing... the small remaining area behind an offset display would be more than ample for those instances, and easily changed with a zoom level setting.

Don,

We actively pan the position icon to the rear edge of the screen. Once you begin flying you will notice the Airplane position start to pan towards the rearward edge of the screen. It's starts about 15kts and gradually increases. You can experiment with this by entering Simulation Mode. Touch Menu -> About -> GPS Information -> Begin Simulation.

You will get a set of controls to control the aircraft. Increase the speed and you will see this panning effect. Once complete, you can eithe power cycle the unit or use the se sequence to End Simulation. I hope this helps.

Looks like I need to get the plane out tomorrow when the ceilings increase so I can try it out.

Thanks!
