I know that we have METARs but TAFs would be more valuable (for airports that have TAFs). Maybe also showing a close by TAF for airports that don't have TAFs would be good (example: Runwayfinder.com shows near by forecasts of other airports' TAFs).

No one wants TAFs? At least, no comments yet.

While I might use TAF's if they were available, I don't think it's high on MY priority list. The TAF for most anywhere on the route of flight is easy enough to print out before the flight, and generally isn't going to change that much between stops. For weather, I'd prefer the active weather RADAR, similar to the XM or ADSB sutff, but I imagine that's a ways off. For maps I'd like to see the Terminal Area Charts, and specialty charts like the Grand Canyon.

I would like to add a vote for TAFs. Usually there is a time lag from when I last update my ifly via USB and when I take off. Combine that with a longer flight, then the TAF info becomes increasingly useful.
