I think HIWAS is still active.

In my example for airport KGEZ, RCO is not mentioned under Communications section of Airport Info page of iFly, nor is the airport diagram shown in iFly. Airport Diagrams are shown under Plates in iFly if the airport is a larger airport. I don't see any mention of HIWAS anywhere in iFly under KGEZ Airport Info page, either.

No, airport diagrams are shown under Plates in iFly if the airport has a diagram (though usually only "larger" airports have such a diagram). If the AFD has a diagram and iFly doesn't show it, that's a bug that needs to be reported. iFly always offers to show the "RealView" (aerial imagery) of all airports on the airport info page, regardless of size.

The "Realview" is very helpful. I believe if the Airport Diagram takes up a whole page solely for the Airport Diagram, then iFly has it under Plates. However, if the airport diagram is small and only takes up a fraction of the page in the airport's page in the Chart Supplement, then I don't think it's shown anywhere in iFly.
