I've had another request to move "Direct To" to a map button. I've also a request or two to be able to customize the map buttons.

I'm torn on both of these features: Customizable buttons could get less technical folks in a mess. And it would probably require we duplicate all the map buttons into the menus, so there is a fail-safe location for all those features. So the menus would grow. And I don't really want to add more buttons to the map, seems there are too many as it is.

So bottom line, I'm not sure if we're going to do this or not. I'll keep my ear out for other opinions on this subject.

In a similar vein, I would like to be able to go to the flight plan (list of the waypoints), click on a waypoint and be able to go directly to that waypoint without disrupting the flight plan (this is useful if you have a long flight plan and want to skip several waypoints and then continue on with the flight plan). The button should read as a classical gps term "direct to".... In the current mode, I believe if you go to the flight plan and click on a waypoint and tell it to go to that waypoint, IFLY cancels the existing flight plan and creates a new flilght plan from present position to the waypoint. I understand that I can go to the map and click on a waypoint and then get a button to go to that waypoint. This only works if your waypoint is on the map without having to scroll thru several pages of maps to get to the desired waypoint. Using the flight plan would be much simpler and be consistant with other aviation gps's
