I just called LA Center to check on some altitudes for an approach. Although one can ask what the MVA is for a certain segment, it would be nice for IFR pilots to have that info too. I don't know where iFly would get MVA data from - I expect that MVA's are locally generated by each ARTCC. But perhaps they can be obtained for the asking, if not via a FOIA request.

Thanks for the link. Amazing what's available on the Net.

Yes, I understand that this Wish-List request is kind of "out there." Kinda like looking at the K-index chart. Don't look at it often, but helpful when you do. In the meantime, I'll plan to download the FAA files to my tablet.
