Due to my lousy network speed this weekend, I haven't been able to view all of the posts and discussions, so please bear with me! I am accustomed to flying with full panel. In my homebuilt KR2, I've been able to achieve a nearly full panel via the Garmin 196. My main focus here would be instruments like HSI, T&B, etc. In that regard, the Garmin has served as an excellent augmentation to the existing 4-pack that is in the KR2 and I'm reluctant to give that up. I have only one panel space available, and it will have to be a Garmin or the iFly 700. Everything I've seen so far about the 700 tells me to buy one! So I am wondering if it would be possible to add a screen of flight instruments? That would put it over the top for me and cause an immediate order. Everything else I've seen says "buy it" !!!
