I just got signed off on my BFR after 20 years of not flying as PIC. I am joining a small group that owns a Cessna 150 with a basic panel and no GPS. I am looking at getting the iFly 700. One thing I'm curious about is how to mount the iFly in the cockpit. Is the mount that comes with the unit sufficient? My BFR instructor had a yoke mount for his Garmin that worked well, and I'd like to learn if you or a third party vendor has a yoke mount that will work for the iFly.

Thanks and regards.

There is a part you can order from RAM Mount that can almost be used with the iFly after some slight modification; the part that slips into the T-slot on the back of the iFly needs to be grinded down for a good fit. It is part# RAP-B-375U. After you have this, you can use a RAM yoke mount. We will soon begin retailing an official RAM Mount solution on our store - should be less than a month away.

Thanks,
Walter

Walter,

Thanks for your feedback. I have ordered a unit. I'll see how the suction mount works and get the RAM mount from your outfit if I need one.

Regards,

Jim
