It would be nice if it were possible to take notes right on the iFly screen both freehand or with a popup keyboard. It could be helpful in writing down frequencies, assigned altitude and heading, ATIS information, etc.. Looking farther into the future, templates for writing down IFR clearances, giving PIREPS and the like just may render traditional kneepad and pen/pencil obsolete.

When I fly, I don't have much time to go between different screens/windows with multiple mouse clicks. How about a free form scribble note (or drawing) on the screen using the touch pad and not a simulated keyboard?
