It's still a good idea. The key will be to provide a simple, intuitive graphic when left traffic is required.

It looks like great minds think alike! Consider bell rung...

I had suggested previously that there be traffic pattern guidance like you get on Foreflight where the flight plan guides you to the pattern. See below:

Interesting that they give you a suggested entry and pattern for a Controlled Airport. I hope they are driving those suggestions base on Tower "Active" times. This is one that is on our Wishlist. Keep up the great feedback.

Shane, I chose that graphic because it is my home airport. You of course will fly the pattern that the tower gives you. It is probably of greater utility for non-towered airports where you will likely want to enter at a 45 or mid-field to the downwind. Foreflight makes a suggestion based on reported winds but it is up to you to choose the runway and desired approach as you plan. It is in the Procedures tab of the editing function.
