Gidday everyone....

Just received my 740b and noticed that the menu bar and color on map seems to be better when I'm looking at the device

at an angle or If I tilt the unit.... It is bright indeed and wanted in bright sun but not seeing the menu bar as I do on the Ipad

is a little annoying....

Am i missing something???

Try Menu>Setup>Screen Settings>Button Fading (More)  Choose how much you want the buttons to fade.
