During a very bumpy flight Monday, I noticed two things:

1) Looking for the CTAF frequency, I noticed the old designation U-1; was I somehow switched to the WAC chart? How? How to get back to Sectional?

2) At one point the little airplane stopped turning as I did. There was no GPS Signal Lost message, just a big freeze. Re-booted and everything was normal for the rest of the flight.

Ghosts?

Can you report for which airport you saw U-1 for? It is likely that if you zoomed out far enough it would switch you over to a WAC chart. You can get back by tapping the "Switch Maps" button on the lower right and selecting Sectional. Or simply zoom back in some. We are working on revising these WAC, SEC, TAC zoom transitions...

There is a possibility that some ADS-B or Weather data congestion caused a brief pause... How long did you let it stay frozen for.. I'm wondering if it would have caught up and proceeded fine. If you can zip and send us the "#log" folder within the User Folder, along with the brief "Frozen Pause and reboot resolved..." then we can dig into this a bit more. Just email it to support@adventurepilot.com and we'll watch for it.

Sent both #logs and logs folders. Forgot about the switch maps, which is on the lower left. Stayed frozen for at least a minute (don't know how long before I discovered it) before re-booting. Don' have ADSB.

Logs received. Brian will take a look at them and we'll et back with you... If you happen to fly soon, maybe you can also enable the ADS-B Logger in the "Connected Devices page. This has to be done at the beginning of the flight. If you can capture one of these logs and send us the ADSBRaw.bin file from within the #Logs Folder, that would be great and a big help. If not, we'll continue to see what might have caused the pause.. Thanks for your patience.

Shane:

Airplane is in for annual, probably not be flying a week to 10 days. 740 is not attached to ADSB unit; should I still turn it on?

Thanks,
