When moving from the Green Bay to the Twin Cities sectional I get a large blue block on my screen (IFLY 700). Thinking the sectional was out of date I loaded the new update but no luck. Tried clicking on the little map icons on the left side but still no luck. Am I missing something??
Thanks,
Mike

When you updated, did you happen to confirm you were adding the WAC, Sectional, TAC for that area. It seems like maybe you don't have all the charts for that area. If a sectional is "not installed" it will not install or update it automatically. You will need to check those charts on the update manifest. You can also confirm if they are loaded on the Chart Expirations page found by touching Menu and About. If this doesn't help, give our support team a call on Monday, please.

I'll give it a shot. Am I to understand that out of date charts will not be shown on the IFLY screen? My problem with loading is we're only one step from 'dial up' (CenturyTel at .55 mb/s and nothing else available in this area). It takes forever to load simple charts to say nothing of updates. Short of that I need to go to my brothers place (16 mb/s or McDonalds) to speed things up. Anyway, that's why I don't load multiple charts unless necessary.
Thanks
Mike

No, expired charts will show, however if you upgraded from v8 to v9, it would have erased the old charts as the new ones are seamless and are needed for v9. It is possible that you may have updated the software and elected to not select the charts to install in an effort to reduce download time. Once you've downloaded the new seamless, then you can continue to use them once expired, however they may have not been initially installed after the software update. It's just a hunch.
