I went on a flight today from MDW to MVN The airplane icon flew completely off the Chicago Sectional, and changed when I was abeam Tuscola, about 12 South of CMI. I'm not even sure there was Chicago Sectional image still on the iFly screen. I was on Zoom Level 5. The distance circles around the plane were still displayed, as were IIRC, the CCA lines from CMI. It wasn't critical, and suspect it would have displayed the St. Louis Sectional had I tried to zoom or otherwise messed with the screen. On the return flight, the change over was fine. The Plane Icon was still within the St. Louis Sectional when It changed to the Chicago Sectional. It isn't a big deal, just presenting info to help the fine tuning.

Thanks for the info Mike. We're trying to improve the sectional change over logic, this type of feedback helps. You were in "Follow Plane" mode, right?

Yes I was. The plane was in the top of the screen when the non/late-changeover happened. In the bottom of the screen on the return trip when it worked.
