Walter: I presume that the video in plug is a 3.5mm mono with the tip grounded. Is the video out the same? I want to plumb my lipstick camera in to view what it sees and then plug the recorder into the video out. Can I do both operations? Dan

Here are the pin outs for the R-Cam and AV-In ports. Not sure about AV-Out, I've requested this info from my hardware provider.

*Note: Only the first couple of hardware batches included an AV-Out port. The latest units we've been shipping do not include this port.

Thanks,

Walter

Walter: I'll try both ports and see if one is better than the other. Have you experimented with the AV at all? Thanks for the wiring pictures. Dan

I've played with the r-cam and AV-IN, they work great. In fact I've just ordered a bunch of bullet cameras that work well with the iFly - will put those up for sale when they arrive.
