Bill,

Can you tell me who gave you that date? I'll need to slap that guy with a wet noodle. Our philosophy is quality and functionality are more important than the release date - so although we have internal targets we don't publish those because they can move.

Last week we released what we hoped would be our final beta, but a couple of bugs were discovered over the weekend so we fixed & released another beta yesterday. It's possible we will release this week, but I usually like to burn in a beta build for at least a week to make sure we didn't introduce a new issue. Complicating things, a couple guys will be on vacation next week - so not a great time to release. So maybe this week...maybe next...but if another critical bug is discovered...maybe 3 weeks. Sorry cannot be more specific...but we are working hard to get this out so we can move on to v7.5, which is gonna be another very cool release!

Walter,

Thanks for the update. I think that we all would agree with your priorities, that quality, especially for these units, is more important than schedule. We're just a bit impatient to appreciate your latest work of art.

(Personally, I'm hoping to break it in on the flight from LA to Oshkosh, which in my little two seat putt putt, is a long way to go.)
