So, Im getting close to having the GRT HR EFIS and EIS installed in the Bearhawk. I would like to drive the GRT EFIS Navigation with the 740B or my Samsung tablet instead of installing a GPS Nav/com of some sort. This would also by default drive the Auto Pilot. I do not plan on this to be an IFR plane. It appears I can get serial information out of the 740b with a USB to Serial convert cord. Will this provide the information that the EFIS will need

Stan,

You might want to ask that question of GRT and see how they respond.  Also, you will probably be installing some type of ADSB unit and that could drive the GRT, too.

My $.02 worth.

I will make the inquity to GRT. I am using their SafeFly 2020 unit with the uvonics ADSB in and out. I need to get back to the page where I found the output information the IFly transmits.

As an update for all intrested, The NMEA info outpu from the IFLY 740b will work as an input navigator for the GRT HX system and autopilot.

That is what I will be working on next
