Flew today knowing a TFR was active in my area. Didn't download the TFR before flight as I wanted to see if FIS-B would provide the TFR in flight. Well, it didn't I was within 4 towers range the entire flight and never received or should I say never displayed the TFR.

Is there something i need to do to display the TFR's provided by FIS-B?

Thanks,

Ron Greene

It works, but is delayed thru adsb. make sure you're within line of sight of towers!

I was receiving from 4 towers entire flight, had weather, just never showed the TFR. 40 minute flight receiving the entire time.

Well, this isn't the first time problems with in-flight TFR reception have been reported, but the previous threads just ended with no follow-up.  For example, here:  https://www.iflygps.com/Support/Forum...ope/posts#42487

Also here:  https://www.iflygps.com/Support/Forum...753/scope/posts

What was the resolution to those issues?

Ron, what device are you running iFly on?  I think at least two of the previously-reported TFR issues were with 740s.  Any chance that's what you're using, or do you have a tablet or phone of some sort?
