Got this message today while enroute. Restarated the 740 and it did not reoccur. What casues this? Please advise as to next steps.
What were the circumstances surrounding the crash? Only time i've ever seen that happen is if it was under a heavy load and trying to do like 500 things at once.
Not much. This is the only time I have seen my 740 crash. I have the 740 in a recess on my panel, attached with velro. I was reseating it when the error occured.
There have been a variety of errors thrown by "esectional.exe" over the years. I don't know if this one fallis into the category of any of the previous ones or if it's something different. The good news is they've usually been intermittent and somewhat rare. The bad news is, that behavior has generally made the bugs not easy to track down or stamp out. (The other bad news is that because of the poor search capabilities of the iFly forum software, it's hard to dig up past posts on the topic.)

Thanks for the context. Hopefully I won't see one of these again. I could only get one of the links to work. The other three resulted in the following error:
"Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content."
