I haven't--but thanks for asking. I was vaguerly aware of it, but have never tried it. Having used Parallels for 5 or 6 years I'm confident that iFly will run in Parallels. (Not using Parallels just now, but considering it because the new MacOS Catalina won't run any 32 bit apps at all, and I have two that I use almost daily.)

I think Crossover is essentially a WINE varient. The problem there is that it's evidently 32 bits and therefore won't run in Catalina. Their website says it's good for Mojave, the last OS to tolerate 32 bits. So until someone produces a 64 bit version of WINE, there's no future in it. In order to upgrade to Catalina, you'd have install Parallels or uh, whatsitsname, the other good virtual machine for Macs, just to run the Crossover version of iFly.

I've dropped several hints here about Apple's new Mac Catalyst, which is supposed to make it relatively easy to port iOS apps to the Mac--meaning that iFly could run on Macs. Unfortunately, though, Catalyst apps require MacOS Catalina--which I don't want to install yet, so I can't even try any of them on my own machine!

When my old Mac laptop--with Parallels--grew tired several years ago, I bought a whopping big 27" iMac. But I decided not to install Parallels on it.  I'd been using Windows for work since the late 1980s and hating it more with every update, and just didn't want to fool with it ever again. Then I needed a Windows laptop to configure a Dynon EFIS and an Airmaster prop, and bought a little Dell laptop/tablet with Win 10. It looks cute, but I hate it anyway.  Ah, but now the Mac and the iPhone really really want to play nice together and they both want me to upgrade to Catalina. So Parallels is looking good again. (It's the Tyranny of the Machines.)
