Ok good responses. It still didn’t explain why the 2 different iFly apps (one on the 740b and one running on the ipad) showed different altitudes if they are both getting info from the SkyguardTWX WiFi. I would post a pic but uploading a file only allows for a minuscule file size.

I provided one possible explanation:  "When an ADSB device with GPS is connected and providing data, iFly usually uses that as its GPS altitude source.  However, if that fails, iFly can revert to the built-in GPS in the device it's running on.  This could happen due to temporary wifi connection problems or other indications of bad data from the ADSB device, and could affect one connected device but not the other."

Without more info, it's hard to help.  Folks post photos on here all the time.  I agree the forum software's not the best, but there are other options, too.  I've never run into a filesize issue, but if you are, then you could either resize / reformat your photos using an image editor to meet the constraint, or else you could avoid the constraint by uploading them to a third party site where they can be shared, like Imgur, Flickr, Google Photos, etc., and then post the link.

Ben,

That's a strange one. There's a few things to check here. First, the GPS Status instrument will say "ADS-B" in the instrument when you're getting a good position from the Skyguard, so double check both are showing that to know they're both communicating properly. Then, on iFly devices only, you can tap on that GPS Status instrument and it'll open a detailed view that includes a checkbox for "Use ADS-B position when available". Make sure that's checked.
