I am also seeing the same issue (missing horizontal stripes of ADS-B NEXRAD data) with a Lynx NGT-9000. The NGT-9000 display is not missing any data blocks, but I can see different missing horizontal strips in iFlyGPS and in another Android EFB product. I have never seen this before. It seems to be a relatively new thing, where there are significant delays in uploading both METAR data as well as NEXRAD data. I wonder if the protocols being used to transmit data from the transponder to the tablet are missing data blocks somehow. With iFlyGPS, I cannot connect to the NGT-9000 using the Lynx option, but only with the Auto-Detect option, so I don't know what protocol it is using. With another Android EFB product, I have to connect to the Lynx NGT-9000 using a GDL-90 compliant protocol. Both products have difficulties displaying NEXRAD images properly, and uploading METARS quickly. This is bad enough that I'm not giving up my XM-Weather subscription just yet. XM-WX works with 100% reliability displayed on my hardwired Aera 510. On the other hand, whatever my NGT-9000 can see is displayed correctly 100% of the time. (I can see more METARS on my tablet apps than I can see on my NGT-9000 display, though)
