Got an email today that uAvionics recieved the STC, and will start shipping the wingtip Skybeacon ASAP.  Same update on the TailBeacon, anticipating the STC in Q1 2019.  Now they are making that predicition by quarter rather then month...

Rich,

Thanks for the update on the tail-unit SkyBeacon....

"Quarter 1" could be late March 2019.

It's going to be a close call on recieving it, installing it and having it certified for the $500 faa rebate...but that is another issue.

Glad to hear they are still moving forward despite the GARMIN legal action (have not heard anything more about that).

We certainly appreciate you keeping us all updated, Rich  -- big thanks.

My skyBeacon shipped on Thursday November 29th.  I have a C150L and will determine if the adapter is needed on my wingtips after it arrives.

That is GREAT news for GA!
