My new Stratux doesn't always turn on unless I unplug power and plug back in a few times. Any suggestions? Also is the fan always on when power is present or thermal switch? Mine is never on. Never mind, it just takes 30 seconds to boot.

If you have the AHRS chip with fan controller, the fan will come on in a few seconds then cut back off. It won't come back on until it needs to.

Thanks, i watched a bit closer and it does spin up after boot up, then stops.

As for your power issue, check to make sure all the connections are solid, and see if you're getting the red light.
