uAvionix got their 5th and final TSO for the SkyBeacon on the Tuesday during OSH. They're in production right now and will be shipping in early September.

Thanks. Have they put out an AML list yet of aproved aircraft? I keep checking their website for updates.

I did see that Flying Mag report, and that is confusing to me. I understood that the Transponder and ADS-B had to work off the same source data for altitude 9and reply code). This was being accomplished by having the ADS-B unit sniff the transponder code and altitude from its transmission. My understanding is you can't have an altitude encoder for the transponder, and a separate one for the ADS-B.

I recieved an e-mail from uAvionix about the TailBeacon, and them starting to take pre-orders for the certifided version which is expected to be released in October. I have sent them an e-mail to try to find out what aircraft are on the STC Aproved Model List for the Skybeacon and what they expect to be on the Tailbeacon.
