Is there an easy way to, from a flight plan, take a pilot's eye view and fly the plan from the desk?  Altitudes and mountains are what I'm most concerned with in an upcoming flight.

Alternatively, can we load an iFly flight plan into X-Plane or Flight Gear?

Thanks.

Have you tried the simulator built into iFly?  Menu>About>Start Simulation Mode>Yes  A box will appear with controls that allow you to increase or decrease Speed, Altitude, and Track.

I don't want interactive at this point.  I only want to watch the flight, with options to speed up and slow down the playback.  IFly's built-in sim is super clunky, unless it's changed in the last year or so.

I'd like it to automagically follow the current flight plan unaided.

+1

I've requested this feature more than once.  Like you, I especially want to see the portions of the flight that go through mountainous terrain but I don't want to manually fly it -- that's a lot of time and a lot of turning.

Can we feed the flight plan somehow to xplane or flightgear and watch it in them?
