Did you click Menu - About - My Account and add your computer as a device. iFly now allows 4 devices if you have the multi-platform add-on.

 Yes I did that. The problem is that in the Windows app, it doesn't recognize my email address with which I did register my account so I can't get to the point where I can register "my device". I'm a regular user of the Android version of IFly for the past 3 years now. It works fine with both my Samsung tablet and phone but not with the laptop. I did make sure also that I typed my email correctly. I've send a ticket to IFly support. We'll see what they say.

We have confirmed there is a bug here...still looking into a solution.

Tim,

I have the same Problem as Marc.  I have correctly register my device, but sometimes iFly does not recognize that and I need to go find internet access somewhere to re-register my device.  Not very helpful when taxiing out.  ;-)  Any suggestions?  Remove software and re-install?

Thanks

Hey, I think we maybe could use a subgroup for Windows iFly?

Appologies if this has already been asked:

I'm starting to use my desktop PC with iFly Windows for planning. Great tool.

BUT BECAUSE THERE'S NO GPS IN MY DESKTOP COMPUTER THE SECTIONAL STARTS ME OUT LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE USA.

Still shows the view there even after I enter a flight plan right on the west coast (I'm based as S03 in Oregon.)

Then I have to tedious zoom out, crab my way to the west coast on the map, finally find the relvant geography, then zoom back in.

IS THERE ANYWAY TO HAVE iFLY WINDOWS, WITHOUT A GPS ACTIVE, DEFAULT TO SHOWING THE MAP CENTERED ON MY HOME AIRPORT, Or better yet, centered on the region with the currently loaded flight plan?

When I just now logged into iFly Window it alterted me to an available update. Asked if I wanted to update. I said yes.

But as far as I could tell all that happened is iFly exited and closed down with no update.

It's now showing Version 10.1.11 .

Also, when I do a user ininitated check for updates, it shows nothing to download.

?????

iFly Windows::

It's showing my departure time in the plan in UTC. I'm always flying local Pacific time. Is there any way to configure it to default to local time for Pacific or for local time of the departure airport?
