I just brought up the app and it asked me to allow access to the phone to make calls; supposedly used for gathering the system serial number.  I said no and also hit the button to not display that message again.  Now when I try to start the app it immediately goes to a screen that says I need to allow this access; I click okay and the app shuts down.   I have no way to get to the settings now.

Any ideas?

-----RESOLVED----  I was able to go to apps on the Android, select iflyGPS, and allow phone access in the settings

You should be able to pull down your notification drawer (from top) chick on settings (little gear) go to app or application settings, scroll down to ifly, tap on it, tap on app permissions and enable it.

Note depending on Android version, summer if the labels might be slightly different.

Yeah this is going to bite some people if they don't allow that permission. It's a change this year, and all new or updated apps that require a unique ID are required to adhere to this permission.  To manually set this, go to Android Settings -> Apps -> iFly GPS -> Permissions -> Make sure Location, Phone and Storage are enabled.

Wouldn't it be better if the initial message stated, in no uncertain terms, that phone (and whatever else) access is NECESSARY in order to use the app.?  If the user selects ""No" the app returns a message that it is unable to continue, and shut the app down.  If the app is started again, the process starts all over.  It might be nice if you also included in the message a statement that the provided information will not be used for anything other than the immediate use of iFly, and will never be given, sold, or otherwise provided to any other entities.
