Ever since a recent update, the iFlyGPS software misreads the system clock/calendar. It thinks the year is 2099 and consequently it is convinced that my subscription and charts expired 80 years ago! The device's OS is still reading the correct date, as are other bits of software associated with it. Needless to say, this is causing problems.

The hardware is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, running Android 4.2.2, kernel 3.0.31-1978026. This is the latest available for this device.

The software is version 10.6.3, dated 2/4/19.

Is there a fix for this?

Is this possibly a problem with your devices GPS date?

Are you sure you have the absolute latest version?  I think there was an issue with some devices due to the recent GPS epoch rollover that drove a quick-turnaround iFly software update to fix, and this sounds like it could be related.

You are experiencing the April 6 GPS Rollover bug.  Most devices handled this correctly, but your device is interpreting the GPS timestamp incorrectly.  And iFly get's the date/time from the GPS data, not the system clock.  We created a patch just for this  - just go to the app store and download the latest version.

Cheers!
