For those who have experienced jerkiiness when panning since the sketch feature addition here's what I did to solve the issue.

I uninstalled the latest version of IFLY and installed the version prior to the sketch feature. Brian supplied the file to the older version.

Now I can pan the map nice and smoothly.

Both of my tablets now work properly.

I'm sure Brian will get it resolved, but I wonder if it has to do with the tablet processor or RAM.  I'm not seeing this on my iPad Mini 4.

Both of my tablets handle other maps OK.

EX: Google Maps, Storm Radar, Windy Weather APPs.

So...not the tablet.

Worked OK before SKETCH feature. Works OK in Sketch/Pan.

Anticipating patch. In the meantime, I'll keep running on the older version.

John, thanks for raising this issue, and I'm glad we got this temporarily resolved for you.

I have added it to our 10.4 TODO list (next release) to revisit map-panning performance and behavior.   In 10.3 we changed some thresholds for doing data updates to new areas shown from map panning more quickly -- but the caveat is that this change appears to have caused choppiness for some users/devices.

For 2 months of beta testing, we didn't have any complaints about performance, and so I'm not sure how prevalent will be the perception that 10.3 map panning performance is *worse* and on what % of devices.   The performance tweak we did is impacted by SDCard read speed, CPU speed, and possibly RAM...

In the meantime, pre-10.4 release, you can choose to download the 10.2.77 APK from our website and use it instead, if you prefer.  However, when you are using non-latest-production version, in-app purchasing should be non-functional - just FYI, if you are needing to extend your subscription.

Here's where you can get 10.2.77, if you prefer (but you may be required to do a full uninstall of production version, for Android to permit the downgrade).

I'm not seeing a problem with .52 on my Nexus 7 (2013).
