I did a long cross country from the mid-west to the east coast. I have the Skyradar Transceiver which worked well, however I got alot of ADS-B tower out of range on the Ifly. Anyone else seeing this? I am not sure if a external attenna would be any better or not. I have read on some other sites not issues with a competitors product.

Thanks

Neal

Neal,

I suspect an external or blade style antenna will help dramatically. If you can install a skin mounted antenna, I'd go with the Delta Pop or Rami AV-74. These will give you a much better reception. If not, look at the blade antenna that SkyRadar offers on thier store. I hope this helps.
