I tried to use the "Online Filing" for 2 IFR flight plans on Sunday. Once I filed the first one it was not clear if I was editing the first plan or creating the new one. The Online Form did not pick up my second plans information even when I loaded and saved it. I've looked in the manual but do not see any details about how to use the "Online Filing". Is there a document that someone can share with more information? I ended up canceling the flight plan from iFly and creating my plans in FltPlan Go which was much more intuitive.

Currently we support only one active "online" flight plan. It's on the task list to support multiple plans, but we don't have a date yet for that feature...but it will be soon.

Thanks,
Walter

Suggestion: Try the new website 1800wxbrief.com Same data that the briefer sees. Was able to talk to those guys at Oshkosh. Can file an retro-active plan up to 30 minutes prior to departure.

I encountered this issue last week, but this post is from almost four years ago. Am I doing something wrong or is this capability still missing?

Michael,

I dont think you are doing anything wrong.  I frequently file IFR from my start point to my mission station, where I will loiter for 3 hours before returning to base.  I end up filing the first plan with iFly, and then calling FSS and asking them to flip the plan and file it for my return.  I haven't found another way to do it.
