An anti-glare film might help, but the 97.8% of the time I'm using my N7 outside my airplane, I would not want one. I'll stick with the "shade it with a piece of paper" solution for now.

I use a RAM yoke mount which works perfect in older Cessna's that don't have that paperclip on the yoke (SP models).

With the high wings it's always in the shade. Now that I think of it I'm surprised someone doesn't make a clip on shade for tablets.

I've been thinking of replacing my 720 with an Android tablet, but just realized something today. I have the 720 NMEA output sent to my EFIS. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think one can do that from a tablet, right?

Roger,

That is correct for now. We are looking at ways to pass the NMEA data on an Android and IPad. IPad will definitely have to be connected to a third-party, like and iLevil, device to be used as a hub. Since Android is more flexible, we may be able to simple use a wired solution. Stay tuned, this is on our development list. I hope this helps.
