I know I've had this working before and I took a look at the posts showing how to get this to work, but no joy.

What gets me is that I am able to get the Avidyne IFD XP Trainer app to work on 2 different apple tablets, and the IFD XP Trainer app uses the same "Broadcaset to all mapping apps on this network" feature.  I think this to me tells me I have everything connected properly (same network), but iFly gps won't connect.  I'm using XPlane11, tried an android (version 11.1.41) and 2 apple tablets (version 11.1.33).

I'm not sure if it matters, but when using the IFD XP Trainer app, the location/navigation icon is not displayed in the upper right, but it is when using iFly gps.  Does that mean it is still trying to use the internal GPS rather than listen to Xplane over the network?

Any ideas?

When I first tried this a while back, I had to make sure the ADSB device was in "Auto-detect" for it to work.  YMMV.

Thanks for the link, but I had already seen this and it's not working.  The point about the other app is that it connects to xplane the same way that ifly does and it was working.  On the same tablet, I could get the other app to work, but not ifly.  Over the last week, there was one time where ifly magically started working with xplane, but hasn't since.  I have no idea what changed, but something isn't working right - probably the user, but it would be nice to figure out how to get this to work either way.

Chad, thank for the suggestion, I do have it in auto-detect.  When it's not working, it doesn't detect a device, the one time it was working, there was data showing up in the connected devices.
