I apologize in advance if this thread should go into a different section. Is there a way to add notes to approach plates? Just about every approach over here on the West Coast has some NOTAM amendment to the MDA/DH etc. Example: NOTAM 1/2347 Corvallis CVO RNAV (GPS) RWY 17, AMDT 1A... LNAV MDA 880/HAT 632 ALL CATS. CIRCLING CAT A/B MDA 880/HAA 630

I am looking for a way to scribble 880 and 632 on the plate itself where I can then hopefully save that for when I need to switch to that approach plate later in the day.

Besides the sketch function on the map and on the paper, I have not found a viable solution yet. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

The only way I know is to put the plate in "Fullscreen Approach Mode" in the Plate options menu.  When you do that, a "Plate Sketch" option will now show up in the plate options menu.  The problem is you can only see the notes if you keep it in fullscreen approach mode.  I wish the notes would stay when the plate is overlaid on the chart.  Hope that helps.

Thank you Chad. I was able to make multiple sketches on different plates and then return to said plates with the sketches still in place. It is unfortunate that it will not work on the overlaid area but this will work for now.  It will be interesting to see how long it keeps these sketches. Thanks again
