Why are fuel prices at some airports old and inaccurate.  Very frustrating to arrive and find the prices are much higher.

Also, I've noticed fuel prices are labeled in different colors (green, orange and red). What is the significance of the colors?

Michael - first of all, welcome to the iFly users forum.  Re your question about fuel pricing - iFly has used Globalair for their fuel pricing for as long as I can remember - and frankly the prices reported are frequently wrong or simply outdated when you view them.  I suppose that in a perfect world either iFly would allow their users to update/report incorrect fuel (and for that matter FBO) info, or hopefully switch fuel pricing providers to a company that has a better track record, say 100ll.com.

We really love iFly and it's ease of use and feature set.  And I suppose we put up with the "little things" like this because the underlying iFly experience is much better than any other EFB app we've tried.

For us, we kind of look at fuel prices with a jaundiced eye - check 100ll.com, check notams, call the FBO, and always have enough reserve for the gotcha moments.

The colors are just an aid to identifying low vs. high prices at a glance.  Greener prices are lower...redder prices are higher.

Thank you for your detailed reply. I just won't select "Fuel Prices" any more and instead I'll visit 100ll.com prior to flight. I'd rather see no information than wrong information. Perhaps in the new version we'll see accurate fuel pricing along with a W&B and a Logbook module. We can wish, can't we?
