The only way to get it to connect was to restart IFLY.

John, I was having trouble getting my iPhone to connect to the Ping router--kept tapping ADS-B status > Options > Reset/Reconnect over and over.  Usually I'd give up and just take off, and then like magic the iPhone would start getting the ADS-B data. Finally I realized that the phone was connecting to my GoPro's wifi router instead of Ping, and then after the GoPro gave up talking to the iPhone, the phone would connect to Ping. So then I started checking iPhone Settings as soon as I saw that it wasn't getting ADSB and forced it to connect to Ping.  No further problems.

UAvionics? Depends on which UAvionics you are connecting to. The SkyBeacon is ADSB-Out and will not provide traffic and weather info to your IFly. You can connect to its wifi for setup, but for traffic and weather info you need an ADSB-In such as a Stratux.

Still no response on this after many months.

Must mean few people are experiencing this or IFLY has bigger fish to fry.

Sorry Johh, this one missed my radar.  I didn't mean to ignore you.   Cobra's suggestion is correct; can you Send Bug Report, and "Select Log file" then select a log file that demonstrates the issue....   followed by another Bug Report and select the Log file for the "restart where it connected".  (So we can see it failing; then see it succeeding.)

These can be tricky issues to fix, unless they are rampant and something we can reproduce in the office.

My Uavionics is ADSB IN/OUT. Don't need Stratux.

Will send a log when it happens again.

Brian;

I did send two logs. The 1st is when it would not read targets. The 2nd is after I went in out and back into IFLY.

I looked at what else my tablet may be looking at and the only thing was Google.

I have no other units on my aircraft that would steal the WiFi.

Maybe the log I sent will help.
