cobra is right here. if you get a galaxy tab you're going to be covered. Some tablets can be finnicky with GPS reception, but I know samsung put a GPS chip in their devices.

As another option, I love my Lenovo Tab TB-8704V and works great with Google FI data SIM.  I tried Samsung but I got tired of their relentless efforts to break Google eco system.

The Lenovo Tab has been going strong for the two years and is my daily driver.

So, my old Samsung Tab A is really slow and sometimes shuts down and I want to replace it with another Samsung. Which one would you suggest? How much memory and speed and such should I look for? Thanks ahead of time.

That's interesting. I'm using iFly on a Tab A with no issues. That may just be that, in my case, it's a backup so I use it only for a few  aviation apps. Also, all the maps and other data are on a SD card rather than clogging internal memory.

I have both a Tab A and  a Tab S2. The tab S2 is brighter, and I think is faster, though I don't know that for sure - just a feeling. It is an SM-713NZWEXAR, if that helps. I'd get one with cellular data next time - much more useful on x-country trips.
