Fire HD 8

I'm looking for a 2nd, smaller tablet for when I'm instructing. I have a Galaxy Pro 10.5" but it's just too big in the cockpit during instruction. The Fire HD 8 has good reviews, but I wonder if that's just more from people reading or watcvhing rather than doign more intensive apps like iFly. It has 1.5Gb RAM wich may be on the low side.

The Fire tablets, are great devices, but can cause some problems running iFly due to the slower porcessor. It can be used, but it is not the highest reccomended product.

Thanks for the reply. I sort of wondered as they're kind of low specced. Changed tack and am looking at an Asus ZenPad (the 2Gb memory one) or perhaps go to a Galaxy Tab A if I decide to spend more. I use iFly on a Galaxy Tab Pro and it's great, but just too big for teaching.
