FWIW, our experience with the Huawei M5 8.4 tablet has been great - good screen readability, excellent battery life, plays well with our Stratux ADSB and iFly. My copilot uses her Nexus 7 to monitor the sectional (I prefer the Vector mode to spot traffic more easily) but when her Nexus dies we'll replace it with another M5 in a heartbeat.
