The issue is NOT with connectivity. I can update to an Android phone with no problem. This is an issue on the Tablet itself (don't know if the problem is the Tablet or the App).

Oftentimes a quick "browser test" doesn't tell you if you're really well-connected, due to caching that occurs (i.e. if you've already been to a page, much of the content is already located on your device's cache, so it can show it quickly, giving you the feel of connectivity).  So I recommend you go to www.speedtest.net, to test your true connection strength.  Many tablets/devices can have poor/flaky wifi connections, which sorta work, but can crap out a lot too.  I have a few such devices here in my office.   Speedtest.net helps to pinpoint this as an issue, as it will show a low bandwidth result.   Run it several times, because with these devices the connection can come-and-go (be strong one minute, but weak the next).  So when/if iFly shows a slow update speed, switch over to Speedtest.net and run a quick test.

speedtest.net reports 9ms ping, 20.64 Mbps download and 6.68 Mbps upload. Comcast.

I have no trouble getting the WX, Nextrad, TFR downloads.

But when I download an update, "Aviation Databases" just hangs. Rate 0 KB/sec.

Please attempt to download the Aviation Database again, and when it hangs, please restart iFly and immeidately do "Menu => About => Send Bug Report => Default log" so that I can look for warnings/errors.
