John, per my previous post, can you please do this and Send Bug Report with AdsbRaw.bin log file, so that I can replay your entire data stream. In your email please describe the time line of symptoms associated with this log, so that I can compare your experience to what I see in my office when replaying it.

How does this apply to the 740? Using Stratux, I can display traffic and Metars/ TAFs. But no Nexrad (yes, I have it selected as an overlay). I would think it would be all or none. Is there something else I need to do to display Nexrad? Thanks.

Actually, it's not all or none. You put a check mark next to METAR/TAF and another next to NEXRAD, and one next to Traffic.

But now that I posted this, I see you did that. The only other thing you need to do is be receiving a ground station and there needs to be some significant weather to see.

John,

There's a few "levels" of ADS-B towers, and they don't all broadcast the same info. If I recall correctly, ground towers (for observing surface traffic at larger airports) do not broadcast NEXRAD and a few other products at all, low level towers only have regional NEXRAD, mid & high towers have regional and CONUS NEXRAD. iFly doesn't currently process the CONUS NEXRAD from the ADS-B stream, so if you're in SoCal and the nearest rain is 150ish or so miles away, you won't see it via ADS-B (but the internet download WILL grab it).

John, I also had problems with not getting heartbeats with my NavWorx ADS600-B. After a lot of hand holding and support from IFly, I found that my 37 pin connector to the ADS-B unit had come loose on one end just enought to prevent data going to my WiFi adapter. The slide lock that is used to hold the 37 pin connector is a little tricky to engage so that both ends of the connector are attached to the box.
